Pomegranate Mimosa

Ingredients


  • 1 lime sliced
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 750 ml bottle of champagne dry or "Brut" and chilled well
  • 3 cups pomegranate juice
  • 6 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
  • fresh rosemary for garnish

Directions



  1. Use a slice of lime and run along the rim of each champagne flute.

  2. Dip the rim of the champagne flute in the granulated sugar.

  3. Fill 8 champagne flutes halfway full of pomegranate juice.

  4. Fill the rest of the glasses with sparkling wine, adding more or less if desired.

  5. Garnish each glass with 1 Tablespoon pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary.
